I have always been a tinkerer. I was an active and curious child who wanted to understand how things work. My mother was happy when nap time came each day and sad when I eventually outgrew naps. One day, to keep me occupied, she placed a transistor radio in the crib with me. She thought the knobs and buttons would entertain me for a while. When the room became quiet, she assumed I'd dropped off and she happily enjoyed some "me time." When she went to wake me from my nap, she found me holding a completely deconstructed radio, wires springing out and parts all over the mattress. My father has always said this was a sign of things to come. Ever since, I've tinkered to see how things work. Understanding how things work leads to Technical Excellence.

In my free time I enjoy kung fu, hiking, filmmaking and photography.
