“We’re All South of Somewhere”

What is Under The Southern Collective Experience Umbrella:

The Blue Mountain Review, a journal of culture read internationally that features all genres of art with interviews from legends across this industry. We capture the whole picture and provide you a peek into fashion and eclectic people creating peace.

The New South Podcast, a show run in conjunction with The Blue Mountain Review that gets the skinny on not only what makes an artist tick, but also how they made their life’s art stick.

The Southern Collective Experience Community Outreach nonprofit brings creative solutions to helping teens, at-risk teens, and adults behind bars. It also houses Collective Sessions that bring open mic, seminars, and conferences to urban and rural communities.

Values

The Collective encourages mutual inspiration and professional growth in a family-like environment, across the mediums of visual art, music, poetry, and prose. Members contribute their different gifts and talents to advance the organization’s activities, which include gatherings, readings, exhibitions, performances, publishing, and promotional opportunities through social media and networking. The arts journal The Blue Mountain Review and the radio show, Dante’s New South, are produced under The Collective’s auspices.
